I hate to gripe, but the search function for the directory is weak.  I think it'd be very nice for the admin to be able to set how people can search.  

 

I really need a zip code function, and I'd like to be able to define that "CJ" is a type of wheat seed, so if someone types in "wheat seed" they also get "CJ" results as well.  Also, currently, if someone types in "CJ" they get results, but if they type in "CJ wheat seed" they do not.

I agree. I don't think it's a gripe. :) We're fixing search for the next version to be more usable and more comprehensive, covering all fields.

The zip code function probably won't be part of that–we are working on a regions module, which will allow users to search by city, state, county, whatever you define. Zip code searches are a bit more complicated because you need Lat/Long calculators to do it, and some very large DB to get addresses converted. We'll look into it, but search by region will be coming first.

State, City is just what I need. When can we expect it ? Would be great…  My client wants me to create a landing page thats a map and each state they click on with send them to a directory page for that state, then they can drill down by industry, county, city.. etc

Hello, in addition: Would it be possible to display the  "States of the which Country" after you have selected the "Country". Like for example: I selected Country "United States", and then it will display the selection of which "States".  Or/ I selected Country "Australia", and displays the States in Australia.

 

I think this is useful when you have multiple selections for Country.

The regions module will address your concern, although it will only allow one country selected at a time for filtering.
