One-step submit listing page
September 22, 2013 - 8:57 am

Hi guys,

I would like to ask you how can I make a single page for submit listings including all steps?
I mean now there are 6 steps and you have to click continue after every step but there are 2 problems:
1. There is no Back button and you have to use browser's Back button if you want to go back for any reson.
2. After last step (step 6) when the listing has been submited, if you click browser's Back button you get back to step 5 and if you click Continue (from step 5), you will get to step 6 so another listing submitted (a copy of first one).

So what I want to do is to make a page for submit listings and to integrate everything in one page with a only one Submit button at the bottom of the page.

How can I do that please?

Thank you!

Hi geo86,
I'm sorry but it won't be possible to combine all the steps on a single page as we need the selection from the first page (category) to drive the other pages, specially the ad placement form that may restrict certain form fields depending on the selected category/fee plan (supported under Featured Levels module).
I'll, however, make sure to forward your feedback about the Back button to the appropriate resource for consideration.

Ok, thank you for your answer.

Will be nice to add such a functionality to it, though.

I have another question please.

How can I do redirect to my custom login page if an user click Add listing and it is not logged in?

Currently, it is just rendering login form in Add listing page without leave the page. But I have a custom login page (e.g. mydomain.com/login) and I would like to redirect users to this page if they are not logged in.

I've tried to replace the code from parts/login-required.tpl.php with wp_redirect or auth_redirect WordPress functions but it doesn't work and I am wondering which is the proper way to do it.

Thank you!

Hi geo86,

This will require direct customization to the plugin files.  You may start with: business-directory-plugin/views/submit-listing.php.
