WordPress 4.9.7 running Clean Education Pro Child Theme ver2018_1 theme.

Directory Theme is Pre BD 4.0 Template
We have a new site under dev that keeps getting pushed back by life and the boss, but she REALLY wants the directory live somewhere now, and she’d like to have it on two of our company sites (the one under dev when it launches, and a second related live site) vs having sit on one and linking to it from the other.
Is there any way to either 1) have the directory on two different sites (same managed server) but both fed from the same DB so that I don’t have to update (or customize) two directories, or have the one that is working on the new site appear via frames or the like on another live site at the same time. I’m only a semi-skilled amateur so apologize if this isn’t clear ort the terms are wrong.
Thoughts, ideas, snide comments?
We've answered a similar question here. Basically every directory would require a separate BD install and each install would have its own database. We’ve shared more info here:
