Re a different support question - I then asked for any recommendations for any themes that would work well with BD. The reply then was for me to visit (( Recommended Themes for BD | FAQ | Support )) document. It appears it is was written in 2014, so I wasn't overly optimistic. But, anyway, I took the authors advice and paid money for a theme, from the very first recommendation in the article, which seemed like a good idea, since it was "first." It was a theme from Studio Press using their Genesis Framework. I chose a theme called Studio Pro, it looked promising, and I have seen another BD installation using that theme. So I invested bucks and time to use it, but then ran up against a brick wall.
Here's the problem. The theme uses Masonry archives, which at least to me seems to be what is screwing up all the BD category pages. When looking at the demo for this theme it shows both Standard and Masonry blog archive pages. So, I figured there must be some way to switch from Masonry to Standard, I wasted too many hours trying to find that option and still have not.
But here's the biggest problem of all, this theme is made by a 3rd party developer, SeoThemes, although Studio Press sells it, Studio Press does not support it, so I entered a support ticket to SeoThemes for the Studio Pro Theme. I got no reply. I entered a 2nd support ticket, no reply, now I've entered a 3rd and still waiting. Then I found their support forum and have entered an ongoing 5 message thread about this problem. No replies to any messages. I then entered a support ticket for Studio Press. They have been wonderful. But unfortunately it's their opinion that this Masonry feature is built in the theme and the only way for me to revert back to the Standard is to hire a developer. That though makes little sense to me cause I can see a demo page at SeoTheme for this theme that give me a menu option to jump between Standard and Masonry. So, to me it seems it should be a fairly simple option that I somehow may just be missing during setup. I just can't find it. But, without any support from SeoThemes, I'm lost, with potentially my only option beings getting a refund and starting over with some other theme - which would be sad because the rest of the theme looks and works great.
LET ME JUMP AHEAD AND GET TO MY QUESTION ...
Does anyone know of a theme that works flawlessly with BD and a company that we can depend on? We'd like a nice looking theme, but most importantly one that works flawlessly with BD. There is isn't enough time in a day to evaluate all the theme offerings out there, and worst of all, there's no way to find out if they will work with BD or not until we buy them. We don't have enough time or money for that. BD appears to be a good product, but it's been a major and very costly pain finding a theme that it will work with. I'd appreciate knowing about any theme that anyone knows about that works well with BD. Please!
Thank you, -Ron

Thank you for the reply. It's not Studio Press we are having problem with, in fact they have been very helpful. The problem is with a third party plugin from Seo Themes. I purchased it through Studio Press but they do not support it, so I tried to get support from Seo Themes. That was non existent.
So, I've returned the purchase for the Studio Pro and I'm going to try out another theme from Studio Press. This time no 3rd party stuff. Got my fingers crossed.
Thanks again - Ron
