I have a problem with my theme.
I use the theme impreza 6.1.2 on one of my website and the theme override taxonomys generated from business directory plugin (since a recent update only)
I reported the problem to the theme devs but i would like to know if there is any way to desactivate the “publicly_queryable” option of plugin’s taxonomys ?
I think the theme override these taxonomys because there are “publicly_queryable” …
A checkbox (if it exists, I missed it!) on dashboard or myabe a small edit in php code ?
Thanks for your help …
PS : i’ve searched : impreza, override, conflict but i’ve not found any topic related to my problem …
Sorry, we have some known issue with Theme-forest related themes, where they affect the behavior and output of BD shortcodes. However, let me check with our developer to see if there is a fix for your particular problem and I’ll report back with more information ASAP.
In the mean time, can you please tell your current version of WP and BD plugin? Also, try using the AJAX compatibility mode that simplifies the output of BD for some themes. Go to BD Admin -> Manage Options -> General -> Advanced -> and select the Enable AJAX compatibility mode? to see if that helps.
Thanks for your help.
Wordpress and BD plugins, both run the latest version (WP : 5.2.1 & BD : 5.5.7)
The devs team of my theme ask me to check this checkbox : “Disable advanced CPT integration” and it solved the conflict ! 🙂
If this tips could help anyone, it’s my pleasure 🙂
Thanks for your help anyway and maybe you should add a small label information near this checkbox to inform users to use it in case of conflict with their theme 😀 …
Thanks for the update. The “Disable advanced CPT integration” option basically turns BD plugin back in terms of how it outputs things in the directory. The “old” way did everything through ONE page. The “new” way does it more like posts and pages in WP. That means each type of page can independently be widgeted by the theme, if the theme supports it.
The problem with editing posts in the forum is something we are already aware of and working on a fix. We’re sorry for the trouble!
