On the page where my listing appear, there's a comment box, and a message above it that says:
"Send Message to listing owner"
I wanted to know ...
1. How and where can I change this message?
2. Is there a way I can determine (for these listings) who should receive the email messages? Meaning, can it send a message to the site admin, or maybe to the email address of each individual listing, or maybe multiple people?

1. You can change that using the translation file ( instructions on how to use it here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-translate-bd-for-non-english-language/ ) or by editing the template and putting it in your theme (so you don't lose the change). The template is under templates/listing-contactform.tpl.php.
2. The "Send Message to listing owner" feature uses the email address that is added under "Business Contact Email" field of a particular listing. However, if you remove listed businesses email address, the contact section defaults to the admins email address.
