Yes, email templates would be a better idea. I will add that to the enhancement list.
The email is formatted in wpbusdirmap.php, look around line 909, the code looks like this:
$html .= wpbusdirman_contactform($wpbusdirmanpermalink,$wpbusdirmanlistingpostid,$commentauthorname,$commentauthoremail,$commentauthorwebsite,$commentauthormessage,$wpbusdirman_contact_form_errors);
$post_author = get_userdata( $post->post_author );
$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0n" .
"From: $commentauthorname n" .
"Reply-To: $commentauthoremailn" .
"Content-Type: text/plain; charset="" . get_option('blog_charset') . ""n";
$subject = "[" . get_option( 'blogname' ) . "] " . wp_kses( get_the_title($wpbusdirmanlistingpostid), array() );
I would like to completely remove the option to send a message.
Besides the fact that it just doesn't look very good (cramped), I don't want to be involved. Each listing includes a link to the listing's website where people can contact them.
I also want to remove the line underneath the message that says - This listing was submitted on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
You can follow any responses to this listing through the RSS 2.0 feed. Responses are currently closed, but you can trackback from your own site.
We'll look into allowing that. You can hack it yourself to do that right now, if you like.
The footer at the bottom comes from WP (this is a post), so if you disable that for your site, then it won't show for BD.
