I'm using WordPress 3.2.1 with Absolum 1.1.1 and WPBDM 1.9.4 and having a problem with the sidebar positioning. On most pages it displays in the correct position below the header, but on category listings and individual listings the sidebar is pushed down the page. To see what I mean, go to http://sexualitytoronto.com/directory/ and click on any category and watch what happens to the sidebar.
I've tried all sorts of things to ferret out the cause, including minimizing widths and max-widths, temporaily removing all clears and floats, and nothing seems to make a difference. It's obvious that the directory listing is pushing the menu, but I'm out of ideas as to why.
I'll be most grateful for any help on this.
Looks like this plugin is using custom page templates in a way that breaks any requirements of your custom theme.
I fixed this by manually going into each broken page, finding its source file in the plugin "posttemplate" folder, and inserting:
...at the top, after "header"
...at the bottom before "footer".
I don't know if those are standard WP code, or if it's specific to the theme I was using.
The reason the main page works fine is that this plugin uses a shortcode to insert itself into a theme-supplied page. It's only the other pages - which don't do this - that cause problems
